Care should be exercised in the handling of Atgam. ATGAM Injection should not be opened. Store permitted between 2-8°C (36-46°F).

ANTITHYMOCYTE GLOBULIN SIDE EFFECTS
- Renal transplantation: Most common adverse reactions include fever, chills, rash, flare, chest or back pain, diarrhea, headache, nausea, vomiting and night sweats.
- Aplastic anemia: Most common adverse reactions include fever, skin reactions, joint stiffness, foot sole pain, muscle ache, diarrhea and vomiting.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- Only physicians experienced in immunosuppressive therapy in the treatment of aplastic anemia or renal transplant patients should take ATGAM.
- Patients with ATG Injection should be treated in facilities equipped as well as staffed with proper and adequate laboratory and supportive medical resources.
- The use of highly acidic infusion solutions should be avoided while on ATMAG because of possible physical instability over time.
