Mechanism of Action of Fosaprepitant Dimeglumine

Fosaprepitant dimeglumine injection blocks the action of a natural substance called neurokinin in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting.

Uses of Fosaprepitant Dimeglumine

Fosaprepitant dimeglumine treats bacterial infections (respiratory tract, urinary tract, nervous system, digestive system, and blood poisoning. It is effective only against bacterial infection and not against viral or fungal infection.

Fosaprepitant Dimeglumine Dosage available

Fosaprepitant dimeglumine is available as an IV (intravenous) injection in the dose of  150 mg. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition.
